Pretty arms, basically - that's what we're here for)... Each week you'll add more to your repertoire, amping the difficulty and feeling progressively more comfortable with each position introduced. Perfect for the ultimate beginner through to those wanting to revisit their former ballet days, your butt will be burning and arms will be shaking. Hosted by our hilarious and gorgeous Aimee, you'll be laughing your way through 6 hours of the best introduction to ballet around. Throw that hair in a bun, suit up in your favourite leotard (or down in your favorite sweats), soon you'll tendu-ing your way to ballet perfection.
ABOUT AIMEE
Originally from London, Amiee’s Love of dance started at the age of two. Growing up she attended classes with some of the country’s leading teachers. After graduating from the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, Amiee somehow fell into a job working in the fashion industry where she worked with the likes of Chanel, Fendi and Moschino. After the birth of her first child Amiee found Barre was the only thing that made her feel herself. A sudden move down-under, Amiee found Barre Body.... and the rest is history, giving up her career in fashion to focus on her love of movement. Amiee’s classes have a strong focus on posture, drawing back to her roots, specialising in post pregnancy bodies. Always fun, she’ll send you on your way feeling great.

CLASSES
Ready to plie, chasse, and releve all day? In part one of our six week ballet course, Amiee takes you through the basics, from arm and foot positions to some simple barre and centre work.
WEEK TWO
Building on what we covered in week one, this week we go through the exercises we've already learned, and add two new ones.
WEEK THREE
This week we learn battement glisse at the barre and an adage in the centre. As you become more comfortable with the movement, you can start to add flourishes with your arms and really dance it!
WEEK FOUR
In week four we are tackling our first pirouettes! You'll be feeling like a prima ballerina in this 40 minute session with Amiee.
WEEK FIVE
In this week's class we now have all our repertoire, so it's time to add some extra layers and refine our technique.
WEEK SIX
The final week of our ballet course is here! Now that you've learned all the choreography, you can enjoy dancing your heart out in this full ballet class.
